CCSA held the 15th General Assembly

The 15th General Assembly of China Communications Standards Association (CCSA) was held in Beijing on January 17, 2018. The meeting implemented the new direction and requirements of the Party and the Country for ICT standardization work under the new era, circulated of main standardization tasks in the next period of MIIT and SAC of China, summarized ICT standardization work in 2017 and discussed and laid out main works in 2018. 

Mr. LUO Wen, member of the CPC Leading Group and Vice Ministor of MIIT, Mr. YIN Hanming, member of the CPC Leading Group and Vice Director of SAC and Mr. XI Guohua, CCSA Honorary Chairman and Chairman of CCSA Strategic Guiding Committee attended the meeting and delivered addresses. Ms. DAI Xiaohui, Vice Chairman of CCSA Council and standing deputy secretary-general of CCSA, introduced Operational Report of CCSA. Mr. Wu Hequan, Member the Chinese Academy of Engineering, presented a technical report on technology and challenge of Industrial Internet. Mr. YANG Zemin, Vice Chairman of CCSA Council and Secretary-General of CCSA, presided meeting. 
The meeting announced the results of “2017 CCSA award for Science and Technology”, including three projects of the first prize, five of the second prize as well as three of the third prize. The meeting reviewed and approved “CCSA five-year strategic development”, listened to the preparatory work of CCSA Supervisory Committee and elected supervisors of the first Supervisory Committee.
About 300 representatives consisted of heads of relevant departments of MIIT and SAC, experts of science and technology committee of communication of MIIT, heads of related associations, including China Institute of Communications, Internet Society of China, Chinese Electronics Standardization Association, etc., and CCSA members attended the meeting.
