CCSA formally joined the GSC as its 10th partners

August 29, 2005¡ª¡ªChina Communications Standards Association (CCSA) formally joined the GSC as its 10th partner. At the 10th meeting of Global Standards Collaboration (GSC) held in Nice, France, Mr. Zhou Baoxin, secretary-general of CCSA, accepted the certificate issued by Mr. Karl Hernz Rozenbrock as the Secretary-General of ETSI, host of the meeting.  Comprising almost all of the influential communications standardization organizations worldwide, GSC has 9 other partners from different regions / countries, namely the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), the United States Telecom Industry Solutions Union (ATIS), Telecom Technical Committee of Japan (TTC), the United States Communications Industry Association (TIA), the Association of Radio Industries and Businesses of Japan (ARIB), the Telecom Technology Association of Korea (TTA), Australian Communications Industry Forum (ACIF) and the Telecommunications Standards Advisory Committee of Canada (TSACC). CCSA joining GSC symbolized that the standardization of China had obtained the confirmation and recognition by the international society and further more it will move step forward to a new higher stage.
